The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Bhubaneswar Chapter received the ICSI Best Grade “C” Chapter Award of the institute for the year 2019.
The award was presented to the Bhubaneswar Chapter managing committee on December 17, 2020 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh during the 48th National Convention of Company Secretaries held from December 17 to 19.
ICSI president Ashish Garg, vice-president Nagendra D Rao, past president Dr Shyam Agrawal and other dignitaries were present. The Bhubaneswar Chapter has already bagged the ICSI National Award five times and the award under the Grade C category for several years. The Bhubaneswar Chapter was established in the year 1981. At present, it has three examination centres and five study centres. It has signed MoUs with Berhampur University; IIM, Sambalpur; Birla Global University; Sri Sri University; GIET University and National Law University of Odisha.
Currently, there are around 2,000 ICSI students and 400 members in Odisha, informed UC Mishra, Executive (Admin), ICSI Bhubaneswar Chapter.
