A Supervisor working under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Berhampur under the CDPO Nilagiri of Baleswar district was trapped by the Vigilance police while accepting an illegal gratification of Rs 10,000.
The official, Subarana Singh, was apprehended on the allegation of accepting the bribe.According to reports, she had demanded the bribe from a person for verification of documents of a newly-appointed Anganwadi Worker.
The bribe money was recovered from the possession of the accused. A case was registered and simultaneous searches were launched at her office and residential house at Berhampur, Nilagiri by the Vigilance police, added the reports.
