The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) organised an ICC Odisha MSME Summit 2018 here recently. SBI CGM Praveena Kala, Industries Department Additional Director SK Hota and Tata Steel resident executive AP Mohanty attended as guests.
Kala spoke about the financial facilitations given by banks to the SMEs and startups. She also spoke about the loans and eligibility criteria for loans under Central Government’s Mudra loan schemes.
Hota informed about new policies for the SMEs and schemes under the GO-Swift program of the State Government to facilitate the SMEs and to encourage establishment of new startups in the State.
About 80 delegates from food processing units, PVC pipe manufacturers, PSUs, banks and financial institutions, large industries like steel and aluminium manufacturers, industrial equipment manufacturers and NGOs attended the meet.
