The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) organised the 3rd ICC Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) conclave 2016 here on Saturday.

The slogan of this year is ‘mainstreaming CSR for sustained inclusiveness’.

ICC Odisha partnering representatives from civil society organisations, companies, industries and corporate houses of the State participated in the conclave.

Industries Minister Debi Prasad Mishra said the Odisha Government is planning to implement the Gujarat CSR model. A total of Rs 344 crore has been spent on CSR activities by the corporate, but there are some marginalised pockets where CSR activities are yet to be undertaken, he added.

Among others, MSME and Tourism Principal Secretary GK Dhal, ICC director general Dr Rajeev Singh, Nalco Director (HR) BK Thakur, Tata Steel chief resident executive Manikanta Naik, KIIT University Vice-Chancellor Dr PP Mathur and Commissioner of Police YB Khurania also spoke.
