The Bhubaneswar Branch of EIRC of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in association with the NSDl E-Governance and Computer lAB organised a workshop on “Understanding of GST framework and implementation” here on Saturday.
West Bengal Service Tax Chief Commissioner Sushant Kumar Panda inaugurated the workshop in the presence of Odisha Commercial Tax Additional Commissioner Ananda Satapathy, EIRC Branch Chairman Rashmi Ranjan Mishra, NSDl e-Governance CFO and SVP Tejas Desai and Computer lab CEO Santosh Kumar Sahoo and EIRC Branch Secretary Sugyan Kumar Sahoo.
Desai and Satapathy spoke on the topic “Role of NSDl as GSP, Role of ASP and Role of Chartered Accountants, Tax practitioner and Taxpayers. The speakers deliberated on the business and transitional impact.
The meeting was attended by more than 150 participants, including Chartered Accountants and Tax Consultants and witnessed a very knowledge intensive and interactive session.
