The State IAS, IPS, IFS Associations, among many other organisations, on Tuesday contributed funds to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) towards relief and restoration operation in the Phailin and flood-affected areas.
While the IAS Association contributed Rs 2.40 lakh, the IPS Association donated Rs 1.51 lakh and the IFS Association Rs 2 lakh to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for the CMRF.
The Tamil Sangam also handed over a cheque of Rs 1 lakh to the Chief Minister while Dhamra Port Company limited contributed Rs 30 lakh to the CMRF.
