Madhulagna Das, a Rourkela girl, who after completing her course in tourism management had joined in a corporate house at Hyderabad, has gone on to earn name and fame for herself in the Telugu film industry and modelling. Madhulagna has also acted a lead character in a Hindi film.
Madhulagna (24) is daughter of Kulamani Das and Suprava Das. Her parents are currently residing at Sector-5 here, her father is a RSP staff. Madhulagna completed his graduation here and thereafter went on to complete tourism management from Bhubaneswar. later, she joined a corporate house at Hyderabad.
Madhulagna’s penchant for acting, dance and fashion motivated her to try her luck in the fashion world. She participated in Miss Hyderabad contest and was shortlisted among top ten finalists of the show hogging the limelight.
She had further consolidated her position in another competition titled as ‘fresh face of Hyderabad’ by becoming top four finalist of the show. Following her success in this show, she had forayed in to the field of modeling at Hyderabad and soon become a top choice model of the city. Giving audition in one of the Hindi movies, she had bagged a leading role in Hindi film titled ‘Siya’, which was directed by Ajij Nasir. After the release of the film in July 2012, she had been busy in Telugu film industry.
She made her debut in Telgu film titled ‘Mr Rowdy’, which was released in December 2014 and had drawn good response in the box office. Since then, she has never looked back as she has already signed three more Telugu films. One of them titled ‘Simple love’ is all set to be released in April next.Madhulagna has also recently got a lead role in another Bollywood film for which she will shortly visit Mumbai to sign a contract.
“With the blessings of God and my fans, I have been getting very good response and offers of good films on regular basis,” said Madhulagna, adding, “I am happy that my work is being appreciated and I am riding the ladder of success through my good work.”Regarding her future plan, Madhlagna says, she aspires to be an accomplished actor in Bollwood film industry.
“I am confident that I can establish myself at the highest level with my performance, if given opportunity. I will be happy to work in Odia film since Odia is my mother tongue, but since I am concentrating here at Hyderabad in Telugu and Hindi films, I have to be highly selective,” Madhulagna added.
Besides filmy responsibility, she has been a popular model as well, as she has been endorsing products like natural hair oil and sampoo, libas Hyderabad, Italia furniture, Sukanya Saree, Desire Diamond and Sanjibani Netralay etc.
