For the first time, the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department of the AIIMS Bhubaneswar in association with the Endoscopy Committee, Federation of the Obstetrical and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI) and the Bhub-aneswar Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society (BOGS) will organise a gynaecological endoscopic live surgery workshop—‘Gynaecological Endoscopy Today’ here on April 4.
The event will have a theme on ‘Minimal Access Maximal Benefit’. Noted faculty members with expertise in the field of gynaecological endoscopy from various hospitals across the country have been invited to give live demonstration on various endoscopic surgeries.
Proposed surgeries for the workshop include total laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic myomectomy for fibroid uterus, laparoscopic Radical Hysterectomy for Cancer Cervix, laparoscopic Sacrocolpopexy and laparoscopic Sacrocervicopexy for vault prolapse, etc.
