In order to give a boost to the vast tourism potential of Odisha, the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Odisha (HRAO) is going to organise the 3rd Odisha Tourism Conclave here on August 24, informed HRAO chairman JK Mohanty.
The day-long conclave would be inaugurated by Governor Prof Ganeshi lal in presence of MP Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, Home Department Additional Chief Secretary Asit Kumar Tripathy, Tourism and Sports Commissioner-cum-Secretary Vishal Dev.
Tourism Minister Ashok Chandra Panda, DC-cum-ACS R Balakrishnan and Vishal Dev would grace as guests in the valedictory ceremony.
Mohanty said during the programme suggestions of the experts in the field of travel and tourism would be deliberated and best of the suggestions would be put forward to the State Government for action.
It would help the State Government in preparing a master plan for a sustainable tourism growth of Odisha, he added.
