To instil more ideas in energy professionals, the Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute (GERMI) on Monday launched its 10th Solar Power Professional Workshop here.
Managing Director of Green Energy Development Corporation of Odisha limited (GEDCOl) Hemant Sharma inaugurated the 6-day workshop on solar photovoltaic design, technology and its application. At least 16 experts provided training to the participants on the first day.
Sharma said, “As the traditional resources are limited, it is really right time to think beyond traditional sources of electricity.” He informed that a total of 126 buildings have been identified in which solar panels of 5 MW generation capacity would be installed soon. More than 100 people would be recruited for the three upcoming projects in the State.
