The Krushnachandrapur Road running between Naraingpur College Road and Guhali and linking Paikapada Patana and Alara gram panchayats has turned to be a deathtrap because it has not been repaired for long.
About 200 people belonging to 40 families are residing in Krushnachandarpur village. But they are facing difficulties in moving to markets and other places as the village lacks an all-weather road. A little shower of rain inundates the muddy road. It takes 20 minutes to cross the 200-metre stretch. Accidents occur on the road frequently.
Despite repeated demands, concerned authorities have not taken steps to construct the road. Construction of this road has become a major issue as it links two panchayats and none of them takes interest to do it.
Locals have demanded that the higher authorities look into the matter and construct the road in the interest of people soon.
