To provide timely promotion to its employees, the State Government on Thursday decided to set up a “Padonnati Adalat” (Promotion Court), which would expedite promotion process and ensure promotion to deserving staffs at the earliest.
As per the Chief Minister’s directive, all eligible staffs would be given promotion by December 31 each year. If some employees don’t get promotion for some reasons, the courts led by Additional Chief Secretaries of different departments would meet in fourth week of January each year and ensure early promotions.
“Normally, employees, who don’t get promotions on time, file cases in different courts. Now, the promotion courts will resolve the issues and ensure timely justice to deserving staffs,” said an official release.
