Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday felicitated Haripriya Nayak, a poor girl, who topped this year’s Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) in BAMS/BHMS and Pharmacy streams and assured her that the State Government would bear expenses for her further studies.
Patnaik felicitated Nayak at the State Secretariat and gave her a laptop and said her success would certainly encourage students in the State.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister also thanked Sambalpur-based IBS Coaching Institute for providing coaching to Nayak free of cost.
Notably, the institute provides free coaching to at least 10 poor meritorious students every year. The Chief Minister said the Government would extend support to such coaching centres operating in the State.
