Prusti has condemned the illegal arrest of farmer leaders of Naba Nirmana Krushaka Sangathana (NKS) Akshyay Kumar and Shesdeba Nanda just b2efore the Chasi Samabesh at Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.
The Odisha Government is anti-farmer and has misused police, Prusti said, adding that the arrest of the duo leaders was illegal and was done at the instance of the Chief Minister.
The Government has been demoralised, said Prusti and wanted to know why the CM is afraid of the farmers. He stated that by this act of the Government, the farmers’ agitation in the State will rather be strengthened.
Meanwhile, the Samruddha Odisha will meet the State Governor Dr SC Jamir and submit him a memorandum protesting the illegal arrest of NKS leaders on Wednesday.
