The BJP on Wednesday claimed that the State Government has bowed down to the party’s pressure and withdrew its power cut decision till June next year after it raised the issue in public vehemently.
BJP State president KV Singh Deo and senior party leader Bijay Mohapatra took a dig at the State Government on the State Government on September 13 accusing the Government of favouring the power generating companies at the cost of pushing the four crore people of the State into darkness.
After two days of the BJP leaders’ Press conference, Energy Minister Pranab Prakash Das informed that the power cut would continue till October this year.
