Ganjam Superintendent of Police Brijesh Kumar Rai and three Additional SPs were honoured by the Kurmi Khetriya Samaj at Chhatrapur in the district.
Before joining as Ganjam SP, Rai had served in Rayagada district where he combated the Maoist menace successfully said president of the district Kurmi Samaj Abhimanyu Pradhan.
The Kurmi Samaj also praised the SP for effectively tackling the Covid-19 pandemic and wished that peace and harmony would prevail in the district during his tenure.
Besides, Rai three Additional SP of the district Thakur Prasad Patro, Ashok Mohapatra and Bijay Kumar Mallick were also felicitated.
