Vigilacne Police on Monday arrested Patrapur Tehsil’s Senior Clerk Jagannath Choudhury on the charge of taking bribe of Rs1,000 for processing a mutation case.Acting on a complaint lodged by one Harish Chandra Pradhan of Narayanpur under the Jarada Police Station in Ganjam district, the Vigilance Police laid a trap and caught Choudhury red-handed while taking the bribe amount from the complainant in his office.Following the trap, the police are also searching Choudhury’s residential house, sources said.
