The Gangadhar Meher Pratisthan in association with the Paschim Odisha Agrani Sangathan, Bhubaneswar Bhulia Samaj, Utkal Sammilani and the International Theatre observed the 91st death anniversary of celebrated poet Gangadhar Meher here on Friday.
Culture Minister Ashok Panda and Secretary Dr Arabanida Padhee, BMC Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena and MlA Priyadarshi Mishra attended the event as guests and garlanded the statue of the legendary poet at Gangadhar Meher Marg.
Gangadhar Meher Jayanti Committee organisational secretary and Utkal Sammilani Mancheswar Industrial Estate branch head Dillip Dashsharma chaired the event while committee convenor Mihir Meher coordinated it.
