There would be no change in the venue for the next State-level Republic Day celebration in Bhubaneswar, official source said after a high-level meeting chaired by Home Secretary Sanjeev Chopra.
The celebration, as in the past, would be held at Mahatma Gandhi Marg on January 26. Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal would unfurl the Tricolour on the occasion.
As many as 10 departments of the State Government would showcase their tableaus displaying the Government’s welfare schemes at the event following the ceremonial parade. Notably, this year, the Government had shifted the Independence Day celebration venue from Mahatma Gandhi Marg to the Exhibition Ground.
