Flood in the Salia river here caused severe damage to several houses.
The buildings and vehicles of Nehru Seva Sangh, a rehabilitation centre were not spared either. However, the centre provided shelter to the flood-affected people for five days. The evacuees had started returning to their own homes. MP Pinaki Mishra and MlA Raghunath Sahu interacted with local Government officials for smooth distribution of relief materials.
