The State Government has decided to make documentary films on the life and struggle of two eminent freedom-fighters, Purushottam Nayak and Brundaban Tripathy.
The Information and Public Relation Department has taken the responsibility of this stupendous task. These documentary films would be available for public.
Both Nayak and Tripathy were imprisoned several times during freedom movement. They were epitomes of the Gandhian values. They took part in Bhoodan and Sarvodaya movement and spent their lifetime in several constructive works.
Exhibition of their life history in reel would certainly benefit students and youths by imbibing spirit of patriotism in them.
I & PR Minister Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak who hails from a freedom fighter’s family has taken initiative in making such documentary films.
