A reunion of a couple was made possible following a reconciliation meeting of counsellors held at the Baleswar Family Court under the supervision of Judge Girish Kumar Mishra last week.
Bidyadhar Majhi (33), a resident of Raikula under the Khaira police station in the district, had filed a petition in the Family Court on September 7 last year seeking divorce from his wife Sunita (31) due to some marital discord.
Following counselling, the litigants agreed to reside together under one roof forgoing and forging their past differences and disputes that had cropped up in their marital life. BIdyadhar, who works in a restaurant in Mumbai, had married Sunita of Bhadrak district on May 13, 2007. The couple has two sons.
After the reconciliation, the couple walked out hand in hand to start a fresh life.
