Maintaining that India is a land of saints and sages like Rushi Bishwamitra and Bashistha, yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Friday came down heavily on the fake godmen and said they should be treated as criminals. “They (fake godmen) are not at all seers. They are doing harm to our society and economy and hurting our religious sentiments. They are criminals. They should face the music of the law of the land,” said Ramedev, who is on a two-day Odisha visit to attend the birth centenary Swami Chdananada Saraswati in Puri.
Ramdev would hold yoga classes in the sea beach during the event. Around 7,000 seers, saints, priests and devotees would attend the three-day programme starting on Friday.
