A fact-finding team would be constituted to look into the goof-up in the Plus 2 examination results.
Replying to an adjournment motion notice moved by the Congress in the Assembly on Tuesday on the issue of faulty evaluation of answer sheets of Plus Two examinations and the mess thereafter, Higher Education Minister Pradeep Kumar Panigrahy told the House that the Government would constitute a fact-finding team for greater transparency in the matter.
The Minister said steps would be taken as per the team’s recommendations. Panigrahy announced that the Government would introduce e-valuation of answer scripts from next year.
Responding to members’ concerns over the slow progress of the re-addition and rechecking of answer sheets, the Minister assured the House that the process would be completed by July-end. Congress members alleged that a racket is operating behind the issue and benefiting out of the mess.
