The Excise Commissioner on Wednesday placed Sub-Inspector Saroj Bag under suspension following a video going viral on social media on Tuesday in which it was seen Bag was consuming liquor in uniform during office hour.
Excise Superintendent of Kendrapada Rajat Praharaj informed that Bag was placed under suspension for dereliction of duty. Notably, a video went viral on Tuesday in social media where Bag was seen consuming liquor inside the office of the District Excise Department during office hours.
