The idea and initiative cell of the Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB), X-Seed, organised a “Kickstart- Entrepreneurship Awareness Drive 2018” here on Sunday aimed at inspiring the future entrepreneurs to shape their ideas into successful startups.
The programme, which also aimed at making the students of XIMB aware of the opportunities as well as the challenges faced in entrepreneurship was graced by Ekcle Advisory Services MD Vikram Duggal, Premas life Sciences MD Praveen Gupta and Think Talent Services founder and MD Bimal Rath.
Addressing the audience, Gupta focused on the key elements, which make an entrepreneur successful. Duggal focussed on how to sell one’s idea to investors and shared his views on an investor's mindset and different types of investments.
Bimal Rath advised the students on the importance of prior work experience and the need of choosing the right funding partner. He also talked about his evolution from being an investor at his brother’s firm to being a founder and MD of his own firm.
During the programme, a question-answer session was also held. X-Seed coordinator Sailav Panda offered a vote of thanks.
