Joint eviction team consisting of BMC, BDA, GA Department and the Commissionerate Police on Wednesday morning cleared encroachment on the CDP drain area at lane 3 in the Jayadev Vihar area here.
BDA liasioning Officer Subhransu Sekhar Mohanty said the eviction team demolished about 30 ft stone boundary wall over the Government land on the CDP drain area in the presence of police forces.
An excavator of BMC was engaged by the squad for the eviction drive.
