The State Government is planning to provide electricity connection to every school in the State. It was stated by School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra after reviewing infrastructure development of the schools at a meeting held at OPEPA conference hall here on Friday. Mishra directed his department officials to prepare a blueprint to provide basic infrastructural needs like electricity or solar power system, hygienic kitchen, toilet, drinking water, broadband facilities to all schools in the State. He also put emphasis on creating green environment in the premises of the schools, construction of boundary walls and registering students’ names for life insurance. The Minister directed his officers to submit a proposal in this regard within 15 days.
