The Commissionerate Police on Tuesday arrested four students of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar and four locals for their alleged involvement in ransacking of a canteen in the medical premises.
Khandagiri police identified the four arrested AIIMS students as Partha Sarathi Acharya (21) of Khurda district, Swastik Saurav Mishra (21) of Sundargarh district, Aswini Kumar Panda (23) of Ganjam district and Akshyat Srivastav of Uttar Pradesh. However, they were released on bail soon after their arrest. The scuffle erupted between students and locals after the former opposed low quality food served to them by the canteen, owned by some locals.
