Enforcement Directorate (ED) sleuths on Thursday conducted simultaneous raids at multiple places connected with the notorious arrested criminal brothers Sushanta Dhalsamanta and Sushil Dhalasamanta.
ED sleuths raided the brothers’ ancestral house in Cuttack and offices in Cuttack and Kolkata. The ED also raided two locations of Tantia Constructions which has taken up JICA project in Cuttack, sources added. As many as three teams of the ED have been engaged in the search operation, the sources revealed. ED
officials had already interrogated Sushant at the Jharpada Special Jail and his younger brother Sushil at the Baleswar District Jail in connection with money trailing. The duo was arrested on January 29 last year on several charges, including murder, loot, extortion and money laundering.
