In view of the impending cyclonic storm Fani, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) on Thursday decided to run special trains to evacuate tourists and visitors.
The first train was scheduled from Puri to Shalimar at 12 noon on the day. The second and third trains left Puri at 3 pm and 6 pm, respectively and headed towards Howrah.
All the trains will have stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur, Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Baleswar and Kharagpur. They will have reserved as well as unreserved accommodation with general, sleeper, 3A and 2A coaches.
