Minister of Railways Piyush Goyal has congratulated an employee of East Coast Railway (ECoR), Shyam Sundar Achary, who has topped in the national-level All-India Railway Painting competition organised by the Railway Board at Nagpur recently.
The competition’s theme was “Transforming Railways” wherein Achary brought out the elements of modernity of bullet train and new technology from heritage concept of pre-Independence Indian Railways with its most famous passenger ever, the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.
Achary is a native of Paralakhemundi in Gajapati district and is working in the ECoR since 2008.
