Revenue Divisional Commissioner (Northern) PK Meherda inaugurated the 12th Dulduli Mahotsav and ORMAS Pallishree Mela simultaneously at Manmohan School ground here on Monday.
Attending the function organised on the occasion, president of the mahotsav committee and District Collector Guha Poonam Tapas Kumar called upon the people to make the mahotsav a grand success. He hoped that Jharsuguda, like its industrial affinity, will keep up upholding cultural values of the western Odisha. She also emphasized on exchange of cultural ideas among the people of neighbouring States residing in the border areas.
During the mahotsav, a total of 872 artistes from all across the country will perform in 52 programmes. Dance forms like Ghudka, Goudabadi, Karma, Samrada, Adibasi nritya, Dandia, Ranappa, Jodi Sankha, Gotipua, Daskathia, Sambalpuri, Sadri Nrutya and Krushnaguru will be performed.
