Demanding strict action against all culprits behind the death of primary school teacher Itishree Pradhan on Friday, who was ablaze on her school premises in Rayagada district on Sunday, the All India DSO, All India DYO and All India MSS staged a demonstration jointly here on Saturday.

They alleged that the police as well as the administration remained mute spectators to her plight despite her repeated complaints of sexual and mental harassment meted out to her at her workplace. They also demanded compensation `50 lakh and a permanent Government service to her kin. All the associations demanded improvement of the moral and ethical standard in schools to discourage such heinous  activities.
