The 21st week-long book fair, organised by the Dhenkanal Pustak Mela Samiti and the Sandhyatara Sahitya Sansad with the support of the District Council of Culture and Rastriya Madhyamika Shiksha Avijan at the Mini stadium here, concluded on Wednesday.A total of 31 publishers from Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Baleswar, Brahmapur, Puri and New Delhi displayed their books in 50 stalls put up at the fair.
They made a business of Rs44 lakh during the seven days. State Mining and Steel Minister Prafulla Kumar Mallik, Dhenkanal MlA Saroj Kumar Samal and district Collector Rupa Roshan Sahu had attended the inaugural ceremony on January 14, while Padmashree Tulasi Munda and Prof Nityananda Mishra joined the valedictory ceremony.
