The State Transport Authority on Thursday said it would provide several driving licence (DL)-related services through online mode in view of the Covid-19 situation.
The decision was taken to reduce public gathering at RTO offices.
The DL services will be available online on Sarathi web portal, www.parivahan.gov.in.
Services such as renewal of DL, change of DL address, issuance of duplicate DL, change of name in DL, change of biometric in DL, Replacement of DL, issuance of extract of DL, surrender of Class of Vehicle(COV), issuance of NOC and surrender of NOC would be available online.
The applicants would book an appointment to visit the concerned RTO office in connection with these services wherever required.
However, the LL online computerised test and DL skill test would not be conducted, the order said.
