Nearly 150 students, including a large number of disabled children from various districts in the State participated in the project Sakhyama, organised by Nayagarh-based social welfare body Ashraya here on Sunday.
As part of the programme, competitions on song, fancy dress, painting and rhymes were held among the disabled as well as general children to create a sense of impartiality among the disabled kids and to showcase their inherent talents.
The winning students will be given prizes along with other disability aids and equipments on December 28, informed Ashraya Director lokanath Dash. Besides, a blood donation camp was also held on the occasion.
Among others, noted singer Acharya Abhimanyu, senior journalist Prasant Patnaik and Suvendu Patnaik were present.
