A total of 14,78,689 voters are scheduled to exercise franchise at 1,020 polling booths in the Dhenkanal Parliamentary constituency on April 23 2019, the third leg of the scheduled General Elections.
The voters comprise 7, 72,105 male and 7, 03,499 ones and they include 12,684 voters in the 18-19 age group, 1,95,090 in 20-29 group, 2,31,824 in 30-39 group, 1,94,454 in 40-49 group, 1,32,143 in 50-59 age group, 87,853 in 60 -69 age group, 45, 608 in 70-79 age group and 19,205 are above the age of 80.
Out of total voters, percentage of literate male voters is 86.18 and percent of female voters is 71. The Dhenkanal Parliamentary constituency consists of seven Assembly segments spread over two districts, Angul and Dhenkanal.
As many as 15 flying squads have been constituted to ensure a free and fair electoral process during the ensuing General Election.
