Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday in a letter requested Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to attend the groundbreaking ceremony of the Dhamra lNG Terminal on July 8.
The ceremony would be held at the Dhamra Port in Bhadrak district.
Pradhan said Rs 6,000 crore has been invested to construct the lNG terminal and further Rs 4,500 crore would be invested for the pipeline and supply of gas to the cities.
A pipeline network of 2, 539 kilometer would be constructed, informed Pradhan. By this project, Odisha along with other eastern region States would be benefitted, he added.
