PNS

More than a hundred devotees of Abhiram Param Hansadev have condemned the burning of a portrait of him by a few miscreants at Paika Purunakote village of Hindol in Dhenkanal district.

The devotees opined that no one has anything to say regarding the burning of Ashrams or portraits of fraud and self-claimed godmans like Sarathi Baba of Barimula, Sura Baba of Jhiinti and Anand Atma of Salepur. But, all saints should not be judged as the same.

Besides, the devotees also claimed that the person, who is identifying himself as Gobardhan Baba at Paika Prunakote Ashram in Hindol, is no way connected with the main Ashram of the Shree Shree Abhiram Parama Hansa.

Abhiram Param Hansadev though passed away in 1963, his devotees have been celebrating the annual festival for three days at various places even in Dhenkanal for the last 11 years.
