The Odisha Diploma Entrance Test and the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) for the year 2013 will be held on May 5 and 12, respectively, Technical Education and Training Minister Pratap Keshari Deb said on Saturday.
About 70,000 candidates have applied to appear at the diploma test at 186 centres while 1,28,000 students will sit for the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) at 180 centres across the State and outside.
At least 145 centres are in the State and 35 outside it. The rank and admit cards would be available in the website only, official sources said.
The Government has decided to constitute a committee to streamline the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE).
The committee comprising the DGP, RDC and departmental Secretary will convene its first meeting soon. CCTV cameras will be installed at all examination centres. Besides, the Crime Branch will be involved in the process from the beginning to prevent any question paper leak or any other disturbance.
