A four-member team from the Health Department conducted an inquiry at the VIMSAR, Burla on Monday following VIMSAR Director Dr Aswini Pujahari’s request to the State Governor for a probe into some doctors’ and PG students’ allegations against him.
The probe team members Umakanta Pati, DMET; Hara Patnaik, Director Health; Bibhuti Bhusan Das and Sarat Chandra Mishra, both Additional Secretary of the department; held discussions with JDA (Junior Doctors’ Association), OMTA (Odisha Medical Teachers’ Association), doctors of the VIMSAR, Milita Nagarika Kriyanusthan Committee and Director Dr Pujahari separately.
