A man and his daughter-in-law were electrocuted at Nadigaon village under the Baleswar Sadar police limits on Tuesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Ramanath Das and Pushpalata Das.
According to reports, Ramanath, an electrician himself, received electric shock while he was fixing some electric glitches in his house in the domestic supply line. His daughter-in-law also met the same fate when she tried to rescue him. Both died on the spot as ascertained by doctors later when the victims were taken to the District Headquarters Hospital.
