All Odisha Dalit Kalyan Parisad president and social activist Manmohan Nayak, who had contracted Covid-19 and was being treated at the KIMS Covid Hospital, passed away on Tuesday. He was 58.
While a number of Dalit organisations were functioning under the leadership of Nayak, he was holding discussions with the Government about caste certificate. His demise is a irreplaceable loss for the Dalit community, said Parisad general secretary Ashok Nayak, Purnachandra Nayak, Baidhar Ghadai Rajkishore Muduli , Gokuli Jena.
