The State saw a further drop in the Covid-19 cases on Tuesday as 37 more people tested positive for the virus in 14 districts and the State pool. With this, the total tally rose to 12,87,549.
Among the newly-infected were nine children in the age group of 0 to 18 years.
Notably, the State had reported 43 cases on Monday.
Sundargarh district reported the highest seven new cases followed by Gajapati with six, Koraput four, Khordha, Kendrapada and Baleswar three each, Mayurbhanj and Jajpur two each and Balangir, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Ganjam, Kalahandi and Puri one each.
The active Covid cases stood at 406.
So far, 12,77,970 patients have recovered in the State.
