Vigilance officers on Tuesday arrested Mayurbhanj district’s Kaptipada block Assistant Engineer Sadananda Jena on the allegation of acquisition and possession of assets (DA) worth Rs 1, 17, 93,586 disproportionate to his known sources of income. His residential house at Kalidaspur, in Baleswar town, house of relative at Begunia in Baleswar district, house at native village in Baliapal in Baleswar district, office room at Kaptipada block and rented house at Mendhakhai Udala in Mayurbhanj district had been searched by the Vigilance sleuths on March 26.
