Vigilance officers on Wednesday arrested Executive Engineer Subodh Kumar Routray of Cuttack RW Division on the allegation of acquisition and possession of assets worth Rs3,28,78,817 disproportionate to his known source of income.
His residential house at Mahanadi Vihar here, parental house at Mundilo village in Jagatsinghpur district and other relatives’ houses had been searched simultaneously by Vigilance officials on March 29.
The case is under investigation.
