The Regional Transport Officer (RTO) of Dhenkanal district has come under the Vigilance scanner for allegedly amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
A team of Vigilance officials raided the residence of the RTO Dibakar Singh on Friday.
Raids were also conducted simultaneously at his residences in Baleswar, Bhubaneswar and Mayurbhanj.
The total assets of Singh were calculated at more than Rs 1.67 croe so far. Till the last reports came in, the raids were underway in the various locations. Notably, a previous RTO of Dhenkanal had also come under the Vigilance net for allegedly amassing disproportionate assets (DA)
