The family members of prominent CPI(M) leader Nikunja Basant Ray of this district, who died on Monday following cardiac arrest, donated his body to the Government Medical College and Hospital here for academic purposes. His eyes were too donated.
This was the first occasion when the body of a person was donated to the FM Medical College. This gesture is hailed by one and all.
