In view of the surging coronavirus cases in some States, the Union Health Ministry has decided to send teams to four severely-affected States, including Odisha, to strengthen Covid-19 management activities.
The teams would review the situation relating to strengthening containment, surveillance, testing and efficient clinical management of the positive cases. Each multi-sectoral team would comprise an epidemiologist and a public health expert.
